If this doesn’t make you hopping mad and ready to take on your own organic garden, nothing will! YES, YOU CONTROL FREAKS AT THE USDA, I SAID “ORGANIC!!!” Barb

By 4409

Political control freaks (thieves) have moved one step further to the twilight zone. In order to sell your home grown fruit at the now centrally planned “farmers market” you must submit a “crop plan” and have your Garden inspected by filling out a “farm schedule.” After that’s done you’re more than welcome to sell your oranges once you fill out your various tax forms, sign the ten page 8000 word contract agreement with the city manager, pay your filing fees and attain your organic certification and proper permits. As Rockefeller said: “competition is sin.”

  1. squodgy says:

Whilst hijacking the name to protect the pockets of corrupted Government employees and the likes of Monsatan and Dow, all is not lost as there are other good words which can still be registered. Biogenetic, “Not Interefered with” (NIW),Biological, Naturally Healthy….and even “UNMONSANTOED”, spring to mind.

  2. Sherry says:

OK, Now you organic farmers have to do something. I suggest
contacting “THE INSTITUTE FOR JUSTICE” They specialize in
taking the government to court for their heavy handed crap so
this is right up[ their alley. Get organized and contact IJ
    ASAP!!

    Good Luck!!!

  3. In 2008, 180 countries declared that their citizens have a fundamental right to food. Only one country voted against this rudimentary right. Can you guess which country that was?

How can the proclaimed land of the free and home of the brave justify such a mean spirited decision? And is it in the best interests of their citizens or in the best interests of someone else?

Instead the United States made it’s intentions perfectly clear and voted against the right to food for it’s citizens. There is no right to food in the USA, nor is there any right to food legislation pending.

Pretty simple isn’t it? Why should we be surprised that they are making it virtually impossible to access, grow or buy wholesome natural food?

Why should we be surprised that they use our tax dollars to subsidize GMO garbage and nearly force feed it to us in every packaged food like product?

The only reason they still have on the gloves is because the access to real food is still possible. Once that option has been removed, you can only imagine the possibilities.

I’m wondering if the USA’s refusal to participate in The Universal Declaration of Human Rights provoked the growing grassroots right to food movement and the real food revolution?

Is the war on food just beginning to heat up?

    Food As A Political Weapon
The Ukraine Farmine, of 1932-1933, was not due to natural disasters, droughts, floods or climate changes. It was simple, peacetime genocide. Desgined, directed and planned by Joseph Stalin as a means to subjugate the Ukrainians to Moscow’s will.

Starvation was the, “absolutely necessary” tool toward that end, and which claimed the lives of 7,000,000 Ukrainian farmers.

“This was the first instance of a peacetime genocide in history. It took the extraordinary form of an artificial famine deliberately created by the ruling powers.

The savage combination of words for the designation of a crime – an artificial deliberately planned famine – is still incredible to many people throughout the world, but indicates the uniqueness of the tragedy of 1933, which is unparalleled, for a time of peace, in the number of victims it claimed.” Wasyl Hryshko – Survivor The Ukrainian Holocaust, 1933

“As many as 7 million Ukrainians were starved in Soviet Socialist dictator Joseph Stalin’s artificial, forced famine in Ukraine in 1932 and 1933. This is approximately the total population of Manitoba, Newfoundland, British Columbia, New Brunswick, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.” Inky Mark, M. P. Dauphin – Swan River House of Commons 2 June 1998

Stalin lamented: “Oh, no, the Collective Farm policy was a terrible struggle… Ten million [he said, holding up his hands]. It was fearful. Four years it lasted. It was absolutely necessary…”

Vote with your $$$$$ for wholesale real food!

  4. Reid Adamson says:

The obvious answer to this Soviet-ization of local farmer’s markets is to run your own on private property.

Their claim of jurisdiction must be challenged!

And, if need be, you’re not selling; you’re accepting ‘donations’ to your church group ( Non 501 3C ) in exchange for your ‘love gifts’.

  5. Barbara Talbert says:

This is incredibly insane. Organic is a word that has been in the dictionary for a long time and is not a created word but part of our language. Unless the USDA owns our language it cannot claim “rights” to it. Nobody owns the world and it’s languages. This just makes no sense and I hope all the organic farmers will challenge it in court.

  6. Abe says:

4409….. that’s one guy I do miss since I left screwtube in mid March. Wonder if he dressed up like the Easter bunny and covered another speeding camera with an Easter egg again??
Guess I’ll have to dump the term organic and call my veggies Abe Made. 100% non Organic and 100% NOT GMO! The joys of being an Agraterrorist.

  7. ChrisYAHanWatcher4YAH says:

The incessant Intrusions of the Pinocchio-an Federal NOSE; into the purportedly sovereign: 10th amendment States RIGHTS withOUT a whimper from The quasi Public PRIVATE CorpoRATocracy/CONspirit-cy against the state Nation habit-ants will NOT STOP, and Only Insatiably Expand, until a STOP is Placed through the Whore of Baba’al’s Non-existent heart!

  8. amicus curiae says:

I have had discussions on the subject of “registering” a farm with ANY organisation as Organic.
mainly because it sets up yet another stand over bureaucracy, more rules regs fees fines etc etc.
so I call what I produce Unregistered organic..and everyone inc me is fine with that.

I find even the big so called organic orgs are little better in their manner than the non org thugs.
    eg
I use a liquid fertiliser thats 99%+ natural, it has less than 1% per ml when mixed of MAP, in the solution,
so its banned for the registered organic grower descriptor.
the minute amount is used for a synergistic effect, actually finding the trace amt after use would be near on impossible soil or produce, the soil bacteria use it.

and Joel Salatin also expresses this same issue, is becoming a memeber of ANY controling pile of paper and law mongers any better an option?
    think not.
USDA claiming organic ownership/patent whatever is a crock of shite.
    aww no
that would be real organic, unlike them:-)

  9. Charles says:

Definition of Organic. ‘A labeling term that refers to an agricultural product produced in accordance with the Act and the regulations in this part.’ The definition of “organic” in the National Organic Program Final Rule 7 CFR Part 205 (Code of Federal Regulations) current as of March 21, 2012. The Organic Farm Marketing Act defined the word organic which became part of the regulations. The federal register is only notice not full text of the act and regulations. The NOP is for marketing by processors not for producers. It has always been true that USDA (monsanto) owns organic.

  10. dave quintana says:

Ok…….just call your products home grown…….

  11. Robin says:

Not too long ago, I was told a person can take the government publications and copy them into a new format “verbatum,” because all US Government publications were owned “by the people,” and as long as a person was a citizen, then it was copy right free.

So I don’t believe “Organic” can be copy-writ by a government agency, unless of course, as the patriot movement writers discourse, there is now an actual United States of America, Inc. in Puerto Rica.

I have copywrit “Opticulture” as the system of “optimally grown,” as a circumvention just in case.
Optimally grown food begins with healthy microbes.
Somebody else has copy-writ “Permaculture,” and you can look around at how the University has co-opted that.

In high school I had an “Organic” chemistry class; not the same.
