In order to sell your home grown fruit at the now centrally planned “farmers market” you must submit a “crop plan” and have your Garden inspected by filling out a “farm schedule.” After that’s done you’re more than welcome to sell your oranges once you fill out your various tax forms, sign the ten page 8000 word contract agreement with the city manager, pay your filing fees and attain your organic certification and proper permits. As Rockefeller said: “competition is sin.”

In 2008, 180 countries declared that their citizens have a fundamental right to food. Only one country voted against this rudimentary right. Can you guess which country that was?
How can the proclaimed land of the free and home of the brave justify such a mean spirited decision? And is it in the best interests of their citizens or in the best interests of someone else?
Instead the United States made it’s intentions perfectly clear and voted against the right to food for it’s citizens. There is no right to food in the USA, nor is there any right to food legislation pending.
Pretty simple isn’t it? Why should we be surprised that they are making it virtually impossible to access, grow or buy wholesome natural food?
Why should we be surprised that they use our tax dollars to subsidize GMO garbage and nearly force feed it to us in every packaged food like product?
The only reason they still have on the gloves is because the access to real food is still possible. Once that option has been removed, you can only imagine the possibilities.
I’m wondering if the USA’s refusal to participate in The Universal Declaration of Human Rights provoked the growing grassroots right to food movement and the real food revolution?
Is the war on food just beginning to heat up?

This is incredibly insane. Organic is a word that has been in the dictionary for a long time and is not a created word but part of our language. Unless the USDA owns our language it cannot claim “rights” to it. Nobody owns the world and it’s languages. This just makes no sense and I hope all the organic farmers will challenge it in court.

I have had discussions on the subject of “registering” a farm with ANY organisation as Organic.
mainly because it sets up yet another stand over bureaucracy, more rules regs fees fines etc etc.
so I call what I produce Unregistered organic..and everyone inc me is fine with that.
I find even the big so called organic orgs are little better in their manner than the non org thugs.
eg
I use a liquid fertiliser thats 99%+ natural, it has less than 1% per ml when mixed of MAP, in the solution,
so its banned for the registered organic grower descriptor.
the minute amount is used for a synergistic effect, actually finding the trace amt after use would be near on impossible soil or produce, the soil bacteria use it.
and Joel Salatin also expresses this same issue, is becoming a memeber of ANY controling pile of paper and law mongers any better an option?

Not too long ago, I was told a person can take the government publications and copy them into a new format “verbatum,” because all US Government publications were owned “by the people,” and as long as a person was a citizen, then it was copy right free.
So I don’t believe “Organic” can be copy-writ by a government agency, unless of course, as the patriot movement writers discourse, there is now an actual United States of America, Inc. in Puerto Rica.
I have copywrit “Opticulture” as the system of “optimally grown,” as a circumvention just in case.
Optimally grown food begins with healthy microbes.
Somebody else has copy-writ “Permaculture,” and you can look around at how the University has co-opted that.
In high school I had an “Organic” chemistry class; not the same.
