The Seed Lady Network Open Source Seed Sharing Project goes live!

We at the Seed Lady Network are dedicated to the premise that self-sufficiency and localization of food sources can lead to a brighter and healthier future where people reach out to each other and form small communities in which organic food is grown locally, and trade is established between neighbors. To this end, the Seed Lady Network was born – a seed sharing community site where people can share their personal seeds, seed saving tips and stories, as well as anything seed related.

Please kick the tires, test the steering, and look over the engine. If there is something I’ve missed, or an option that needs adding, please let me know. Here is a link to the site: Seed Lady Network

Seed sharing is the only way to preserve the seeds now

  2. Warning! This is not you! Beware…… you could be bio-tech for all I know. I do not sell seeds either…… I just created the platform for others to sell or trade theirs! No one here even knows who you are! We are teaching people to grow their own, and how to save and store. No one has to wonder about sites like this one…… they know me….. I have been around a long time.

So yes, this definitely is NOT you, Anna. Evidently you are aka “The Seed Lady of Watts,” and we are the “SLN Seed Lady Network Open Source Seed Sharing Project,” and we do not in any way support biotech interests.

  3. Warning!!! This is not ME! Beware! It could be BioTech for all I know. I do not sell seeds! I give seeds away! Grow your own seed so you do not have to wonder about sites like this! Beware! Anna Marie Carter aka “The Seed Lady of Watts

Hi Abe, this is what Barb had said about Seedsavers when she published the Safe Seed List:

“Seedsavers sold out its members by donating seeds to the Svalbard Seedbank. The seeds are then made available to biotech interests for genetic engineering.”

    Nice, huh?
