Farm Wars

The state of Michigan has officially declared war on family farmers. Bakers Green Acres raises pigs in a humane way. This evidently creates a competition threat to the pork industry, and the government-sponsored mega-corporations can’t have that, so look out small family farmers, here comes the state of Michigan to correct the problem by declaring any pig NOT the right color to be “feral” even if it is raised on a farm and eats at the family dinner table. Bakers Green Acres is fighting back. After all, they really have no choice. It is either that or face the mass killing of their livestock at the hands of the Michigan pig police and the ruination of their farm and livelihood.

  1. Hi-
You can put us on yourlist of seed co. We sell some seed, but mostly process seed for eating–heirlooms, open pollinated, pre-industrial dry beans, popcorn, spelt, flour corn, and some hybrid organic corn.

Farm without taxpayer subsidies and government interference goes away.

You can’t have your cake and eat it.
    ==================
    wrong!
    aus farmers get NO subsidies.
we still have big govt mandating what we can and cant do, worse than Amerikka has right now.
    ===========
re the pig culling, another reason may well be Monmongrels Patenting on pig genetics.
the same gene the claim they would need to have “created” to be patented..happens to be a Naturally occuring gene found in many old breeds of pig.
starting to be a bit clearer now?
    and
I read this week just gone, that USDA has ordered a insane Huge amount of bullets as well as the FEMA order for 450 mil bullets the weeks prior.
why???does USDA need such ammo supplies right now?
they sure arent going to be killing many bears wolves pumas etc are they???
they seem to be allowed total access to all lands, which is fair enough except for when they decide lambs and calves are easy game.
and they happen to be spreading CWD, well the deer and elk are.
and in Aus and there I bet your national parks [people do NOT fence their land OR assist with half the funds when WE need to fence wild critters OUT of the crops or stock.
the cheapest land is always backing or near a park..cos the owners have gone broke trying to keep their product/animals safe from predation..

“Prayer against this evil is the only thing we have at this point.”

that’s exactly WHY we’re in messes like this: because idiots like you pray to your bull$hit fairy tale santa claus god INSTEAD OF GETTING OFF YOUR FAT REDNECK A$$ES AND DOING SOMETHING ABOUT THE ISSUE.

religion – opiate for the idiot masses.

Beck, I would very much like to agree with you but things have gone from rotten to worse since 1913.

Lincoln realized the central problem when he said, “The government should create, issue, and circulate all the currency and credit needed to satisfy the spending power of the government and the buying power of consumers. The privilege of creating and issuing money is not only the supreme prerogative of government, but it is the government’s greatest creative opportunity. The financing of all public enterprise, and the conduct of the treasury will become matters of practical administration. Money will cease to be master and will then become servant of humanity.”

The founders put it in the Constitution, but the bankers bribed enough Congress critters to hand the money issuing power over to the “Fed.” Rep. Louis McFadden made many enlightening speeches on the subject. JFK began issuing government money.

We haven’t had democracy in a good long time and won’t until we take control of the money supply which will begin the process of reclaiming “our representatives” who might then be able to re-regulate the media.

These are Russian boars. These are an invasion species. Boa constrictors in Florida ring a bell? Mississippi, Alabama and Texas will give you all the feral hogs you want. Pigs are not nice. Pigs will eat you. Pigs are beyond reasoning. This dick wants to play with a hog that is not you’re favorite pork chop. And yes the DNR is right!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. Beck says:

Bill, Fascism has no place in America. We are the land of the free and that is how we are going to try and keep it. We don’t want govt. telling us what we can and can’t do.

  7. Lindsay says:

This is part and parcel of the same agribusiness movement whereby Monsanto tried to criminalize Canadian Percy Schmeiser for having his organic canola crop contaminated by pollen from someone else’s “roundup-ready” crop, and the Mid America CropLife Association tried to shut down Michelle Obama’s organic garden at the white house.

  8. PJ London says:

“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?… The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If…if…We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation…. We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.”– Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn, The Gulag Archipelago

  9. RPforpresident says:

The farmers need to contact their local sheriffs. According to the Constitution, sheriffs have greater authority over their jurisdiction than the POTUS. Ask the sheriffs to deputize the farmers.

  10. Politicians probably would make a good protein supplement for feeding swine. It would also be like feeding pigs to pigs, just deserts if it weren’t for the toxic content of politicians! Yes, by all means deploy the biodiversity argument. Where do the eggheads think domesticated livestock came from? Wild stock is the basis for domestic stock, and is usually the stronger gene pool. Protect family farmers and pigs!

Fascism is the ultimate evil according to the TV.

Research should convince most folks that fascism was a response to criminal capitalism and communism. Ezra Pound recognized this, understood the evils of international banking and usury, and so he was locked up for 14 years.

The communists butchered far more than any other group in history and yet kids are led to think there’s something glamorous about it. I know I was. My nephew has a book on Che now. Sickening.

  13. Bill,

Seriously? Fascism is a good thing? NOT! WHO gets to decide what is good for the country and what businesses can and cannot exist? The corrupt corporate government? And just how has that worked out for us so far? The crushing of family farms in favor of large CAFOs, that’s how. And we will only see more and more of this. Fascism a good thing? Not only NO, but HELL NO!!!

There is a very good interview with Mark at the Natural News link. I have the feeling this may be a turning point. That is one American family that will stand up and fight. We need to throw massive support behind them.

Its about time for communities to start banding together to physically defend people who are in the cross hairs of the criminals in govt. Its the ONLY way we can stave off this hemorrhaging of our liberties. Voting obviously doesn’t do shit so, I hate to say it but it is time to take our country back.

  17. Bill says:

Pascal needs to do more research.
9 of 10 of Marxs Planks of Communism have been implemented in Amerika.

‘Fascism has an undeserved bad reputation.
Regardless of this reputation, Fascism is a very sensible economic and social ideology. There are a few different “flavors” of Fascism, but basically they all come down to the following.

Fascism is an economic system in which a nation’s government plays a central role in monitoring all banking, trade, production, and labor activity which takes place within the nation. Such monitoring is done for the sole purpose of safeguarding & advancing the nation and its people. Under Fascism, the government will not approve of any business activity unless that business has a positive impact on the nation as a whole and the people of the nation – this is the axiom which determines everything under Fascism.

In other words, the government asks, “Is XYZ Enterprises good for our nation and our people?” If yes, it’s approved. If no, it’s not approved. When they ask, “Is it good?”, they mean, “Is XYZ Enterprises good for the workers, do they pay a fair wage, do they produce a product or provide a service which advances our nation & our people technologically, morally, spiritually, health-wise, etc???” For example, a pornography company would not be allowed because pornography corrupts people generally and exploits & degrades women particularly. Also, “free” trade agreements (such as what the U.S. has with China) would never be allowed because such trade agreements result in companies sending jobs overseas (where labor is dirt cheap). Such an activity, of course, would undermine a nation’s labor class. This is entirely unacceptable and thus not allowed under a Fascist economic model.

Fascism is based on free enterprise – but with constraints (the primary constraint being, “Is the particular economic activity in question good for our nation?”). Also, a businessman can become wealthy in a Fascist country, and the government has no objection to this (this is in stark contrast to Communism). Fascism also encourages private ownership of property (again, in stark contrast to Communism where private property is not allowed).

In a nutshell, Fascism basically tells entrepreneurs, “Go ahead and start a business, earn a lot of money, be successful, but don’t produce any products or services which damage our nation and our nation’s people… and make sure you treat your workers fair and pay them a living wage. If you don’t do these things, we’ll shut you down.”

The above is the economic aspect of Fascism. There is also a cultural/social aspect to Fascism as well. Under Fascism, government plays a key role in monitoring: film, theatre, art, literature, music, education, etc in order to maintain a high moral standard, keep things clean and respectable, promote a strong sense of patriotism and honor, and prevent the dissemination of depraved filth which corrupts society.’

  18. Pascal says:

Fascism is growing in Amerikka. Please note that heavy satanic subliminals are in the Ron Paul campaign tv spots. (These are aimed to harm not only his opponents, but also harm Ron Paul.)

The powers that be are going to install Obama again. Prayer against this evil is the only thing we have at this point.

  20. Doug Eberspacher says:

You can read about what happened in Germany and Russia and you can see the relation. The people who don’t read the Internet and only watch tv don’t have a clue. If you’ve followed the Internet you just know after what they did in Waco and 9/11 that bad times are ahead like we have never seen. This time the citizens are going to have to decide are we going to sit back and allow them to shoot us and bury us in mass graves like they did to the Eastern Europeans.

  21. joe bassett says:

IN Eastern Europe they killed 65 million people to eliminate anyone challenging the Communists. We have to decide if we are going to first allow them to take our guns and second they must have a reason to keep this fraudulent guy in office. After the next election he won’t give a rat’s arse.
This is why you have to have common citizens elected as president and they all serve just one year and then replaced, because 8 years with one person in office is a long time. They might do anything to remain in office. They will tell us anything.
Let’s get rid of career politicians.

  22. rich says:

the Michigan state govt. should spend its resources on rebuilding Detroit instead of bother farmers..

  23. Dan S. says:

I saw this story on the “Daily Paul” website. It says the state is calling the wrong-colored pigs an “invasive species”, rather than “feral”. But aren’t ALL common farm animals “invasive species” in the sense of not being native to North America? Cows, pigs, horses, sheep, all were originally imported from Europe. How is one color of pig any more (or less) “invasive” than another?

Anyway, doesn’t the Michigan Constitution contain the usual clause that private property cannot be taken for public use, without payment of just compensation? If so, and the state wants to “take” these pigs (by killing them) for the “public purpose” of making the state free of invasive or feral varieties of pig, it must pay compensation for each pig destroyed. Are they planning to do so? Also, the U.S. Constitution says that states may not “impair the obligations of contract”. If the farmers had contracts, signed before the new pig-banning law was passed, to deliver these pigs after April 1 (the effective date of the law), then a state law cannot void those contracts, and at least the pigs covered by such contracts would have to be “grandfathered” in as legal. (It’s too bad that that constitutional provision applies only to the states, and not to the federal government.)

Will be praying for you, your family & your pigs!!! Big Government Communist get out of our lives!

  26. Beck says:

Your local Sheriff has the authority to not let any federal agent, EPA, even the President to step on your land. He has the power over any federal person. He was elected by you and he is to follow the Constitution. Go on the website of Sheriff Mack and listen to what he says about it.

  27. suss G says:

How discusting!!! I am ashamed of the people that enforce this crap! They are communists themselves- i don’t buy the ole i need to follow orders or they need the job!!! Nope they are part of the “evil” that has taken over our country! Actually they’ve always been here its just now that they are choosing to exersize their proverbial muscle! There is no one standing in their way to stop them- so they keep pushing! I’m afraid its going to get pretty ugly- this is just the beginning!!!

  28. Sure do, John. I live in the country. There are ranchers all around. I HAVE NEVER SEEN an animal escape from a ranch and turn feral. NEVER. Ranchers keep good track of their livestock, and if they get out, out come the four-wheelers and horses, and down the road they go to herd them back. Each animal means dollars. This move by Michigan is complete NWO police state, Agenda 21 garbage.

  29. John T C says:

Get behind Ron Paul. He wants to go after the EPA, USDA, the Fed, and others. He believes that we need less government in our lives. We’re not doing any better now and things are only getting worse. The others are all the same as Obama and we see where its going now. Everything else he proposes is spot on. He’s also for us getting the UN out of our business. Screw this Agenda 21 stuff. According to them farming isn’t sustainable, specially the raising of meats. I’m sure the corporate farms and Monsanto are getting a green light. Long term they see all the population in “smart” cities and some twisted utopian view. Anyone remember the movie Logan’s Run?

  30. Pierre says:

What an insane US government we have they just doing the communist way shame on them!

  31. Abe says:

I hope people remember how there Reps. in the District of Crimminals voted! Last summer between that Food Safety Modernization Act and that executive order that gave the Pres. the power to take over all of the farms and gardens. This is exactly what many of us was saying was going to happen!

  32. Barbara Talbert says:

It is bio-diversity which will be our saving grace from the CAFO controlled nightmare that this country is becoming. I hope Mr. Baker can enlist the organizations he needs to partner with and the legal help that will get him exonerated from his accusers.
