I didn’t want to be right on this. I was hoping that I was wrong, but it looks like it is playing out just as I thought it would. Here come genetically modified (GM) sugar beets right on the heels of GM alfalfa.
USDA partially deregulating biotech sugar beets
KANSAS CITY/WASHINGTON, Feb 4 (Reuters) – U.S. agricultural regulators on Friday said despite a court ban, they would allow commercial planting of genetically modified sugar beets under closely controlled conditions while they complete a full environmental impact statement. The move marks the second-such boost by the United States for contested biotech crops in a week, and underscores U.S. determination to expand the use of GMO crops amid rising global fears over food security and surging prices. After approving genetically altered alfalfa last week in the face of bitter protest and after court rulings against an earlier sugar beet approval, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said it would allow Monsanto Co’s (MON.N) “Roundup Ready” sugar beets back in the fields this spring. Have you noticed that the government mob has absolutely no problem violating court orders? Just look at the recent Supreme Court ruling on Obamacare.
The federal court in the massive 26-state challenge to ObamaCare on Monday held that the health care law’s individual mandate is unconstitutional. And, even more importantly, the judge accepted the argument in my court brief that the mandate cannot be separated from the rest of this 2,700-page legislative monstrosity, and struck down the entire law. The Supreme Court says it’s unconstitutional. The government says SO WHAT! Hey, let’s just redefine “constitutional” and keep on steamrolling right over the Supreme Court while we use the constitution like toilet paper. No one will notice. And if they do, they won’t care. We’ve got the TV, corporate-controlled media, poisonous vaccines, fluoride, Neotame, Aspartame, mercury, aluminum falling from the sky, poisonous medications, and a school system that teaches kids to love the chemical abuse on our side. Hell no, they won’t notice. They are too busy simply trying to learn how to tie their own shoe laces, courtesy of your friendly federal government.
And now this. Just how “in your face” can they get? In the wake of the recent GMO alfalfa victory for biotech pirates masquerading as USDA gatekeepers, here come the beets. This spring we can count on yet another biotech mutation receiving the USDA seal of approval, damn the law, full steam ahead. “Opponents to the biotech beets said the USDA action circumvents court orders” (Reuters). But who cares about that? Certainly not Congress, Obama, or any other puppet in this so-called Republic.
So those GMOs just keep on a rollin’ right into our food supply. Tests? We don’t need no stinkin’ tests! These are GRAS (generally recognized as safe). And labeling? You’ve got to be kidding. Why would we do that? The American people don’t care what they eat just as long as it tastes good.
What is it going to take? When are we going to say “enough!” and take back our food sovereignty? If you are not yet convinced that we need to stop relying on processed food from mega corporations, then it is too late for you. I’m sorry, but that is the truth. Get over it. Might just as well bend over and kiss your *** goodbye. As for the rest of us, let’s get on the ball and support local, organic farming whether or not it contains the USDA seal of approval. Get some seeds and start growing at least a part of your own food. We are surrounded, and it is only getting worse. This is a reality check.

Thanks Joseph, I agree with the extended family/community thing. I would prefer to avoid the mass die off scenario though as I think a relatively small amount of weed pulling or ‘Bush clearing’ in the metaphorical sense could fix the problem overnight. These people are real terrorists and surely must be subject to the anti-
terrorist laws they are trying to inflict on us illegally. They have broken laws, abused their power, lied to the people, stolen our money, poisoned us, ignored constitution, etc. I think they qualify for heavy jail time if anybody ever did.
Unfortunately unregulated GMO Alfalfa will most likely contaminate naturally grown Alfalfa. Organic beef and dairy products will be a thing of the past. The only thing that will stop this is a mass crop die off or a mass human die off directly attributed to Transgenic mutations.
Ed Stratford you are correct. The system is set and controlled and as Doug stated most people are ok with thinking thay are free but really are slaves.
Since I was woken up in 1998 by a foreign man and came to see what is going on I started asking questions of that government and what did I get for it, 444 days in jail, fines, divorced, total loss of credit (loss of credit is not a bad thing) and I’m sure a few more things I can’t think of right now.
Do every thing you can for your self, grow food, minimize energy use in ever way, go back to family unit not just being Dad, Mom , and kids but extending to oldest grand parents to distant cousins and help each other but allow no free-loaedrs.

These people are treacherous thieves who all need to be held accountable. They are sick in the most diabolical way,and if we don’t heal them, their sickness will kill us all with their insatiable greed and contempt for all that is beautiful. One only has to review the Potato famine of Ireland in the 1840’s to see that any one strain of a food can go wrong, and you starve. Diversity of our vegetables ensures that if one version falls victim to a virus or bacteria, that other versions will survive. We are being led to famine, and control of all seeds owned by one American company to destroy our food supply.
Stop Genetically Modified anything. When I become your President in 2012 we will Restore the Rights of Americans to control all of our food supply.
I have been doing as you suggest Ms. Peterson for several years now; purchasing direct from organic growers, and growing my own. You ask “when are we going to say enough!” Well, many of us already have, but those “many” are but a small percentage of a population which to a large degree (1) cares little about the quality and efficacy of the nutrition which they ingest; and, (2) STILL has some semblance of trust in the governmental agencies whose SUPPOSED purpose is to protect the citizenry. We are a poisoned population – earth, sky, water – they have all been subjected to wastes and chemicals and toxins whose purpose is to produce profits for those who use these substances in their products; and to ensure that we will get sick and be in need of allopathic medical services……once again generating profits for various business interests. Personally, I have very little faith that the American people will wake from their slumber and recognize the situation they are being subjected to. Somehow, I have come to believe that most Americans like being slaves who think they are free. People in the Gulf region are coming to see the truth, it only took the massive poisoning of their way of life to accomplish that. Unfortunately, that is what it will take for the rest of the nation as well. And, also unfortunately, that is exactly what is planned and being carried out. Anyone game for South America?
