When it comes to regulations, it’s all in the wording. Not all organic producers take advantage of the huge loopholes in the USDA’s National Organics Program (NOP). There are those who really care, and those who are owned body and soul by GMO pushers. It is a matter of being able to trust your grower/manufacturer to be honest about it. This is one reason why I distrust anyone who promotes coexistence. By promoting coexistence, they support the continued proliferation of GMOs, which will eventually take over all natural seeds if allowed to continue at the rate they are being planted. This is a war, make no mistake about it.
Question:
How can you trust an agency that promotes GMOs to be in charge of a program that supposedly is against GMOs?
YOU CAN’T.

The problem with non GMO project is that they only test once a YEAR, and allow for up to HALF a percent of GMO contamination!

This article is getting very little notice. Why? Because nobody wants to hear it. It tears apart the illusion of a “safe” haven for non-GMO food. It attacks the bubble we create for ourselves, thinking that we can simply go to the store and pick up a can of “USDA Organic” food and feel safe. It makes us uncomfortable because it demands that we take responsibility for our food choices instead of relegating those choices to a government agency that has proven time and time again that its sole purpose is to subjugate and destroy. And we go home with our cans and jars and boxes of government-certified phoney “organic” food and feel good about ourselves that we made the right choice and have taken a stand for food safety. QUIT BEING MANIPULATED! I say to the people who feel safety in the USDA Organic label to get up off of your hind ends and do the research. Just because it says USDA Organic does not mean that it has not been adulterated by people whose sole job is to do just that. If you don’t trust the company who makes the food, then USDA Organic label or not, DO NOT BUY IT!
Monsanto is not giving up on GMOs. The company is merely adding another division to its portfolio and attempting to take advantage of the growing organic market: http://www.wired.com/wiredscie.....egetables/. Monsanto wants to own ALL seeds, including organic.
Have you seen the article in Mother Jones today about Monsanto giving up on GMO foods. Wonder what is going on here as I feel that is not true and according to the comments so do many others.
Maybe they don’t know about GMO seed companies and producers buying up land in other countries under different names or about our government bullying other countries into buying our GMO’s with threats.
